Rose Madone is an artist born in 1993 in the North of France.
Using various techniques — painting, ceramic, photography and video — the artist finds in creativity a way to transcend her energy, permitting her to canalize and analyze it.
At a young age, Rose decides to leave her native city, Lille, to go explore Brussels, before settling down in Barcelona. It’s in 2017, in the heart of the cosmopolitan Catalan capital that her conceptual and aesthetical work finds its roots and crystallizes.
Emotions, analysis and sharing are the words that could define the artist's approach. Spontaneous and instinctive, she mostly loves to depict topics of everyday life, its natural cycles and one’s personal evolution.
Through her paintings, Rose seeks to exhaust an emotion, to find the answer to her reflection. In pursuit of comprehension and knowledge, she projects on the canvas her thoughts to initiate a visual dialogue between the audience and herself.
Flowing movements, sandy material, transparency, duality of colors, Rose’s work mostly seeks the notion of balance both on the visual and personal aspect.
From beige to black, passing through all the nuances of brown, from the contrast of organic shapes and textures to a minimalistic structure, Rose aims to create a symbiosis between the different elements present on the canvas.
Her work is an ode to harmony, to the stages of life and to mindfulness. A profound attempt to visually represent her thought process and to share it along the way.
